1. Introduction
RELAXIE (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of Overseas Filipino Workers using our platform in Hungary. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data We Collect
When you register we collect your OWWA Ecard ID, name, email, gender, birthdate, phone number, current employer, and entry date to Hungary. We also record your cookie, marketing and prize-draw consent choices.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to create and manage your account, verify your eligibility for welfare benefits, connect you with partner vendors, and—where you have consented—send newsletters and enter you into prize draws.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We group cookies and similar browser storage into three categories. You choose which non-essential categories to allow via the consent banner shown on your first visit, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
- Essential — always on. Required to keep you signed in and to remember your consent choices. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — optional. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the platform is used so we can improve it. IP addresses are anonymised. Loaded only after you opt in.
- Marketing — optional. Reserved for measuring and tailoring campaigns. No marketing cookies are currently active.

5. Legal Basis & Your Rights
We process your data based on your consent and our legitimate interest in providing welfare services. Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time.
6. Data Security
Your data is protected with industry-standard measures, including encryption of sensitive identifiers, row-level access controls, and secure password hashing. Your OWWA ID and email are immutable after registration to preserve identity integrity.
